Restoration of Ford’s Theatre

by: leftright

August 6th, 2013

Ford’s Theatre is well known as the place where John Wilkes Booth shot President Abraham Lincoln. What is not so well known is that Ford’s Theatre represents the best of the public and private sectors working together to accomplish a common goal.

Owned by the National Park Service, but supported by private donations, Ford’s Theatre provides visitors of all ages and interests the opportunity to learn about Lincoln’s ideals and leadership principles: courage, integrity, tolerance, equality and creative expression.

Exemplifying the mission of LRLRFM! Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, and US Open Champion Golfer Tom Lehman join forces to promote the ongoing restoration of Ford’s Theatre.
