Children need families. But more than 140 million children around the world are without families, living in institutions or on the street. Despite this need, adoptions into the U.S. of foreign orphans have fallen by more than 60 percent since 2004, due in large part to a broken international system filled with impossible regulations that cause delays, red tape, and staggering costs.
On Friday, May 17, the Both Ends Burning Campaign will lead the Step Forward for Orphans March down the National Mall in Washington. We are marching to urge the United States government to address this intolerable situation. The March is the culmination of a nationwide tour to promote the documentary STUCK, which reveals the plight of foreign orphans and their adoptive families.
Join us in this March to ensure pro-adoption voices are heard!
